Hair Dye Guide
The purpose of this bright and spunky accordion fold zine is to inform its reader on proper hair dye practices. It features my own writing (and insider experience) in the form of an approachably written step-by-step guide. The monotone pink is eye-catching, and is also one of the most popular unnatural hair colors. I used playful and joyful images of people in order to carry on the lighthearted mood, as well as create a “this could be you” feeling within the viewer. They were made duotone to create unity within the design and keep the eye-catching color scheme.
